The Design course history from FATEA mixes the thoughts, arguably ahead of its time, proposed by Professor Anamaria de Moraes, once in 1993 and beyond, collaborating with the current syllabus of this course in Brazil. 
Thus, the LaErg - Laboratório de Ergonomia Anamaria de Moraes (in English, “Ergonomics Laboratory Anamaria de Moraes”) pays tribute to this tireless teacher and researcher. It was considered her dedication and love shown to Ergonomics for many productions and participations in this country and the recognition achieved outside our borders, becoming the first member of the International Ergonomics Association in Brazil to receive the title of IEA Fellows in 2006.
The LaErg, by assuming the name Anamaria de Moraes in his own identity, hopes to walk the paths and knowledge left by Anamaria de Moraes, helping the contemporary society with the benefits achieved when applying ergonomic concepts.
